To Prospective Members:
Established in 1986, The Asian Chamber of Commerce (ACC) was formed to serve and represent the professional and business interests of Nevada's growing Asian Pacific Americans. ACC, a non-profit corporation, was founded with the primary goal of economic growth for its membership. Our goal is to become a major forum and significant economic force in bringing about political, social and economic parity for Nevada's Asian Pacific American community. The ACC is a conduit of business opportunities and a broker of information and resources for Asian-Pacific American entrepreneurs. Please take the time to review our mission to the business professional and local community.
Membership is open to any business or professional subscribing to our goals and objectives. The ACC is fortunate to be sustained by a very active membership who support our main fundraiser: The Bill Endow Scholarship that is awarded to worthy local high school students. All funds for the scholarship is raised via participation in the Bill Endow Scholarship Golf Tournament held each year. Because of the high caliber of our membership, the ACC bestows special recognition to our members who have made significant contributions to the community at our Annual Community Achievement Awards Dinner.
The ACC holds luncheon meetings once a month, usually the last Thursday, as well as business mixers once a quarter for our membership. We strive to keep the program interesting and timely and entertaining, all at the same time. The best part of our luncheons is that it gives you the opportunity as a member to see our dedicated staff of directors. Many times, we have found out opportunities and successes have been championed just through casual conversations at these meetings. Added up, we think we have helped, even if in a small way, to better our business community.
Please review our Calendar of Events to see what's coming up in the year. You can also view highlights of past events in the Photo Gallery. We look forward to fostering more wonderful relationships and business connections.
Yours Sincerely,
Vida Chan Lin
President, Asian Chamber of Commerce
